Fast & Lasting Repairs for Pools of All Sizes

Pools are an essential part of life in Florida and one of the best ways to beat the heat. When your pool experiences a leak, you need to know that you can turn to someone you can trust who can quickly find and fix the problem. At American Leak Detection, we are the original leak specialists and are ready to get to work the moment you notice a problem. You invested a lot in your pool, so trust our experienced and professional team when problems arise.

Leaks often start out small, and many times you may not notice them at first. Your water level may start to go down and you may pass it off as the result of too much splashing around or evaporation. Yet if you continually notice a drop of ¼ inch or more a day, there is most likely another culprit: a leak. Though the water level dropping is a common warning sign of a leak, it’s not the only way to tell.

A few other warning signs include:

The ground around an area of your pool is soggy
You need to continually add water to your pool
You notice cracks in or around your pool deck
Your pool deck feels like it is sagging or sinking

If you notice one or more of the above signs, it’s likely there is a leak somewhere in your pool. But there’s no need to worry! Our pool leak detection team is ready to quickly find your leak and repair it. Locally founded in 1988, we’ve encountered leaks of all kinds over the years and know exactly what to look for. We’ll have you enjoying your pool again in no time.

How to Prepare for a Leak Test

So you are pretty certain you have a leak somewhere in your pool. What now? The next step is locating the leak. That’s where the American Leak Detection team comes in. While we’ll take charge of finding the leak, there are a few things you can do to prepare for our arrival and make the detection process a bit easier. Before we arrive, we recommend that the pool be thoroughly cleaned. It can be harder to find a leak if there is dirt and debris floating around.

Our pool leak inspection team also asks that your pool be as clear as possible. Even the slightest presence of algae or fungi can make the leak detection job significantly harder. Lastly, we ask that your pool be filled up to the normal level, in case the leak is toward the top of the water level. From there, our professional team will get to work, find your leak, and provide a lasting repair.

See What Our Customers Say

"I highly recommend Kaleb Brown for his expertise in identifying a pool leak."
“The water level in my backyard pool was dropping significantly over the past month. RHR Pools suggested utilizing American Leak Detection. Kaleb’s long-term experience with construction/maintenance/operation of residential pools was quickly evident. He systematically evaluated the entirety of the piping /structure and identified a significant leak associated with the skimmer. After effecting a temporary repair, he generated an easily readable report with recommendations for a permanent solution. I am appreciative of the effort.”
